For better apps, upgrade yourself to newer phones.

To gain some extra money towards buying your next cell phone, an excellent way is to go ahead with mobile phone recycling. If you are one of those who already has a new cell phone, this extra money helps to earn and pay it off or add a little to one’s bank account. Not only can cell phone recycling lead you to a new mobile but also get you some interesting applications.

The next decade, as it is obviously evident, is bent on devising new apps for almost everything. There is a new application now for waste disposal and recycling. It is named My-Waste and is available free for all tablet and cell phone users. The application is basically meant to remind its users to engage in recycling and put out their rubbish apart from any other collections they may have. Only available regionally at the moment, this application hopes to encourage others around the world to catch on enough and start offering similar in different countries and cities.

Currently, this app is in Canada which reminds all residents to recycle and also put out their trash. You cannot get it yet but I can suggest many reasons for you to start using mobile phone recycling. E-waste recycling not only keeps trash out of landfills but even helps in making the environment cleaner and greener apart from fetching you some money for it. Why don’t you take a cue and make something similar for us in the UK?

Receiving cash against your old cell phone has indeed become very popular in the previous four years since it can really fetch a good sum.

Mobile phone recycling is definitely not a novel concept but getting cash in turn is surely a popular and recent development. This was around four years back that the concept of turning in old phones for cash gained popularity online. And the last 2 years have seen more number of guides getting released online on how this works. Who would not mind getting a few pounds extra from something that once cost hundreds?

Companies like cashformobiles.info are therefore willing to meet such needs and they are making it possible for individuals to sell mobiles to them so that they can refurbish, recycle and even resell the used phones. The individual is even paid to send in their mobile phones. By selling some items from home, which are not being used, one can easily make some money.

If not exceeding two, most of us here in the UK have at least 1 old handset, which is not being used. And I can tell you precisely why it happens – it is because we do not know what exactly can be done with it. However now you know that any old phone can easily be turned in for some cash. Just do some research at an appropriate website and you will be able to see how much you can fetch for your old cell phone.

The Nokia Ace advertising will increase the mobile phone recycling to a great extent.

The Nokia Ace advertising will increase the mobile phone recycling to a great extent.

Microsoft is planning to spend around £63.9 million on their new advertising campaign, which will be launched along with the new Nokia Ace. Experts feel that a new spate of mobile phone recycling will be sparked. Considering that many people begin looking out for new phones which are hot commodities, it is surely not an unfounded theory. Most of the people therefore are inclined to figure out ways for turning in their old phones. Cell phone recycling is by far the easiest way to get rid of an old cell phone and also fetch some money in exchange.

Though the marketing campaign will begin earlier, Nokia Ace is expected to be in stores around end March. The campaign will aim at reminding the buyers about the entry of the new phone. The option of windows enabled phone will be promoted by Microsoft. They will sell the Nokia at AT&T in the USA, while in the UK, it will be released little later than the US.

A 5.4% share that Microsoft holds in the market is substantially lower compared to the 46.3% that the Android platform holds. This low share is one of the reasons behind this campaign being launched at an electronics show in Las Vegas. Moreover, more people are expected to show an interest in recycling their mobile phones. Undoubtedly, a great way to make some money to buy a new phone!

The newly launched Windows Phone Platform is now available to mobile phone owners by recycling.

The newly launched Windows Phone Platform is now available to mobile phone owners by recycling.

Recycling mobile phones is a very savvy way to earn funds by recycling old mobile phones. But now, recycling gets even better, after the announcement in the UK of the new entry level Windows Phone. This would probably see a spurt in the number of people who would want to get the Windows platform and would recycle their phones for it. This new platform will be launched in the US and UK, by a joint venture between T mobile and Nokia. This platform will be made available in US first.

The ideal phone to join the smartphone rage is the Nokia Lumia 710. And this will lead to the recycling of many more phones in both the UK and US after the new Windows platform is launched in these countries.

The Finnish company announced that they would bring the biggest 4G network to the US. They also bring an added advantage of the People Hub feature by which communicating with friends and family can become so much easier. There are in fact, many more features and apps brought about by this new phone platform like T Mobile TV and a popular web browser, Netflix. Nokia Lumia 710 is set to become one of the best- selling and most popular phones in the year 2012, as stated by Juniper Research. And the reason for this success and popularity is primarily because of the new operating system Windows 8. Thus, through mobile recycling, one can gain funds for upgrading to the new Windows platform.

Getting your old mobile phones recycled can fetch you some handy cash.

Getting your old mobile phones recycled can fetch you some handy cash.
It is not a good idea to throw your TV, computer, chargers, mobile phones or batteries into the trash bin. All these items fall in the category of e-waste and must be disposed off in a particular manner. Just like it is important to recycle milk, cans, juice cartons, paper, milk cartons and tins in order to protect the environment, you must get your old electronic gadgets and mobile phones to save the environment.
All types of e-waste including computers comprises of sensitive materials that can possibly cause a lot of harm to the earth. The more e-waste is created, the fewer important things we’ll have. Are you aware that copper is known to be one of the most common e-waste that can alternatively be re-used if a mobile phone is recycled properly? In fact several countries pay significant amounts of money to re-use copper available in the e-waste. For instance, Japan is one of the largest producers of electronics and due to that it is always in need of nickel and copper.
It is because of this reason and for the protection of our environment that many companies are now paying customers who turn in their old mobile phones for recycling. All you are required to do is get in touch with the right person to educate yourself about recycling process and to learn about the amount you can earn for choosing to do so. Your old mobile phone might even be resold in the marketplace, but it will be recycled properly eventually.

Christmas presents for children are getting more and more expensive every year.

Christmas presents for children are getting more and more expensive every year.

Have you noticed that even children nowadays expect more expensive items as Christmas gifts? This trend is further boosted by the introduction of several new technologies with each passing year. As if it was not enough, even schools have started incorporating latest technologies involving smart phones and laptops in the classrooms to make learning easier for kids. It has led to more learning options available on computer software for children as young as two years, than the old brick and mortar classrooms. Even though this trend is not very harmful, but it does get expensive on occasions.

A recently conducted PBS survey was carried out with the intent to find out the kind of Christmas gifts parents are planning for their children this year. It revealed that many of them will opt for recycled laptops or mobile phones instead of brand new products. This means that kids can expect an iPhone 3G instead of a brand new iPhone 4S. Experts feel that such gift items might be inappropriate keeping in mind the age of the children and must be gifted only after the children reach a certain level of maturity.

In any case, if you don’t have anyone in mind you can re-gift old technological gadgets to this festive season, mobile phone recycling can be a great alternative for you to earn some handy cash.

The entire world seems to be working towards assisting various different charities at the moment.

The USA has already had many versions of charity donations as far as mobile phone recycling is concerned. The Middle East, on the other hand, is helping to save turtles. Australia too is not behind and is willing to help the needy.

MobileMuster is being used by Oxfam Australia to donate about 2000 chickens for holidays. Chickens will be donated each time two cell phones are sent for recycling through this charity Oxfam Unwrapped. More than 19 million broken or old cell phones are available in Australia which can be recycled. Since there is a noble cause associated with this now, Australia Oxfam hopes that people will start taking it more seriously.

Even though you could be elsewhere and not in Australia, one can still look for ways to help a charity through mobile phone recycling. You may need to use the proceeds of recycling to make your own donations, but you can definitely help. There are many families who need help at the holidays and may use proceeds from cell phone recycling to send it to your chosen charity and save animals or ill people or even donate food to people at a local shelter.

The gist of it is that there is always someone somewhere in need of help so you can opt for any charity and do your bit, especially when upcoming holidays are the talk of the town.

Mobile phone recycling is lucrative, both for you and the criminals.

It is sad that a well intentioned task such as recycling has to deal with criminals too. It is unfortunate that while on the move we have to be always on our toes in order to protect our phones, wallets and electronic gadgets from criminals. Considering the great number of mobile phone frauds, it is not surprising that a warning has been issued to all people interested in getting their phones recycled that they must wipe off all confidential data from it before submitting it for recycling.

Besides all data such as contacts, messages etc., the SIM card of the phone must also be removed before it is sent, as it consists of confidential data as well. Please keep in mind that not all mobile phones have a removable SIM card, hence you might have to learn the process to wipe off such SIM cards clean prior to turning them in.

Even if you sell off your old mobile phone to a reputed recycling company, it in no way guarantees that the data on your phone will not fall into wrong hands. This is the exact reason why many companies make extra effort by refurbishing the old phones, adding a brand new SIM card and making sure that no old data stays on the phone before it is resold. As many as 75 million mobile phones are upgraded or replaced every year in the United Kingdom. This implies that there is a great chance of a shipment to fall into the wrong hands. Hence, it is better to be safe than be sorry later.

Should you recycle your mobile phone and follow suit with the rest of the world? You may do things individually rather then follow the crowd but you should reconsider on this occasion.

As per the recent Australian news, no matter what part of the world you live or who you are, mobile phone recycling can provide exceptional benefits for you and the world. You may be living in the United Kingdom, but you must know that Australia has many more unpopulated areas as compared to the UK, and have purchases of about 345 million batteries per year, out of which 1.8 million are car batteries. This effectively means that majority of the batteries bought in Australia are for use in mobile phones.

Batteries, irrespective of whether they are for mobile phones or for cars, are extremely dangerous for the planet. Their unethical disposal cannot only pollute the soil and water, but the toxic chemicals that emanate from batteries can harm the human and animal population in many ways. Considering the fact that a lot of cell phone batteries are spreading fast throughout the world, they could soon become the number one cause of earth’s destruction.

Recycling of mobile phones is a green initiative and also offers an incentive for people in the UK. Depending upon the type of phone and its resale value, you can earn from recycling too.

We are listening about many companies putting in efforts to entice citizens to recycle their old mobile phones.

A company in North America has recently made announcement on its new promotion about mobile phone recycling and donations. Each phone that is recycled between November 14 and November 23 will fetch a donation to the JDFR or the American Diabetes, which is essentially a charity for Juvenile Diabetes trying to create awareness on how the disease is caused and what can be done to manage it.

The American company’s move only proves that majority of companies are now becoming interested in putting efforts and ensuring that cell phones are recycled and environment is protected to a great extent. In the USA, while this charity and promotion are being run, the UK citizens too gave a great chance to give back to their own community by opting to recycle their old mobile phones. In essence, it means that each time an old phone is turned in, it will reduce chances of ending up in a dump and hence, giving an opportunity to someone who may need an old phone to use it.

Mobile phones can be of great importance to people for various reasons. Families which cannot afford the new cell phones can use the recycled and affordable ones. On the other hand, parents can contact their children in case of any need and even children can reach their parents in case of any emergency.

Mobile phone recycling is back in the news, courtesy the recent launch of iPhone 4S.

Customers all over the world have been spending hours online to find answers to queries about mobile phone recycling and the new iPhone 4S. Such queries have been mainly coming from the regions where Android and BlackBerry phones are getting recycled in great numbers.

A 72 per cent hike in the amount of old mobiles being traded in was observed recently. The trade-ins were mainly about recycling of old mobile phones with a company that will provide a nominal discount towards the purchase of the new iPhone 4S. Just as Apple had predicted, people all over the world are raving about their new offering. Experts in other industries are expecting that more and more people will begin opting for mobile phone recycling as a great method to generate some quick cash for their new purchase.

The increasing number of Androids and BlackBerrys getting recycled just proves how popular Apple iPhone is, especially in comparison to other smart phone models. Industry analysts are calling this phenomenon, the ‘iPhone Effect’ because every time a new model of iPhone is launched in the marketplace, millions of old mobiles get turned in.

Regardless of the fact that millions of old mobiles get turned in for the latest smart phone, there are still a great multitude of people who cannot afford the new model. These people prefer buying old versions of the smartphones that are at least better than the ones they are currently using.

Chelsea Clinton, the daughter of former US President Bill Clinton, started a new campaign on phone recycling that suggests improved health for mother and child.

This US-based campaign is designed in such a way that it not only helps mothers, but also the children in Nepal and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The campaign requested everyone to recycle their old mobile phones in order to take these phones to countries such as Nepal and the Congo.

A study was conducted regarding the use of mobile phones by pregnant women. Many individuals, who gave away their old mobile phones towards recycling, stated that a new phone is purchased by them at least once every two years and they are absolutely clueless then on what could be done with the old handsets. By taking on recycling of mobile phones, the individuals are not only assisting people all across the world in being able to afford cell phones, but also helping them buy at the first introductory price.

Some aspects of the campaign are slightly different. Phones which cannot be used any longer will be recycled completely. Those parts which can be used again, will be, while the other parts will be exchanged for cash which will be earned as donations for the social cause in the Congo and Nepal. For further information please read through the Money.co.uk Recycling Review which will provide more information.

If you would like to recycle your phone for another charitable cause why not trade it in for cash online and donate to your preferred charity.

Opting for mobile phone recycling can help you to get rid of unwanted junk lying around in your office or home.

There has been a lot of debate lately about old mobile phones. Many companies including Nokia have been consistently studying the number of people opting for mobile phone recycling. If you fall into the category of 91% of common population, you are one among the many who are yet to experience the benefits of mobile phone recycling. At present only 9% of European population, including UK residents, get their old mobile phones recycled.

Nowadays it is far more convenient to have an old mobile phone recycled, however not many people are completely aware of its process. Mobile phone recycling is primarily about environment protection. Old mobile phones’ batteries consist of harmful toxins. They even contain minerals like platinum, palladium and even gold that can be reused. The plastic in these old phones can also be melted down during the recycling process and remoulded for further use.

Apart from the benefit of getting rid of the old phone/s, the recycling process also has other advantages such as quick cash. Money is mostly the main incentive when we talk about recycling. The old phone must be reusable in some cases, implying that it must be in a condition to be refurbished and resold. In case of old mobiles with obsolete technologies, you may not get great incentives. However, you still get the satisfaction of protecting your environment and safeguarding the future generations.

It is possible to earn some cash by getting your old mobile phone recycled.

Are you living frugally, but still wish to have a new contract for a mobile phone? If your answer to this question is in affirmative, you can generate some handy cash through the sale of your old mobile phone. A great number of people have at least one mobile phone lying around idle in their homes. A phone recycling company can pay them for turning in those idle mobile phones. However, please keep in mind that there are some limitations to this process, such as the age, model and make of the mobile phone. Any mobile phone belonging to the 2G era is most likely to be recycled and given the form of an altogether fresh product. Many recycling companies might not even be able to offer any money for such aged phone due to their inability to refurbish and resell it.

Any old mobile phone that can be refurbished and resold is most likely to earn you some handy cash amount. The exact amount earned from recycled will be dependent on the phone type. Smart phones normally get better cash amount in comparison to normal phones.

Other features such as the type of camera on the mobile phone also help in fetching a little extra for recycling. New phone models are released every year. So, when you get one for yourself, it will be best to find out what amount your old mobile phone can bring to the table. It might turn out that if you recycle all old phones lying around in your home, the new phone might actually come for free.

An interesting phenomenon has been noticed – the temperatures are rising not only in the UK, but even in the US, Europe and the Middle East. It is due to nothing else but our own actions and how we are using the earth. Despite the fact that many of us recycle our products religiously and on a regular basis, there still are many who do not. The rubbish is straight away thrown out without removing electronics, newspapers and various other items that can easily be recycled.

Many dangers are associated with throwing away of mobile phones in the bin. Phone batteries are extremely toxic when they are dumped in landfills and such toxicity can get leaked into food and water among other important areas. What will it lead to? It will only harm our generations to come in the future.

I fail to understand why we are still so lax about it when recycling toxic products like mobile phones and electronics is so much simpler in our times. Whether it is about money or protecting the environment, whichever is more important to you, do trade in your old mobile phone for recycling.

To make it easier, let me tell you that recycling is very simple. Just log in, enter your mobile make and model and you will see what the best offer is for your old phone. Apart from the recycling benefits that you get, monetary benefits are just an added bonus.

According to statistics, the average resident in the UK upgrades or replaces their mobile phone every eighteen months. Just imagine the number of mobile phones that go to waste, considering the current population of the UK. What this means is that most old cell phones end up in the bin, rather than being processed in a recycling centre, contributing waste that ultimately ends up in a landfill.

Thankfully, there is a solution to all of this waste: recycle your old mobile phone! Not only will it help in protecting the environment, but it will also line your pockets with extra cash; your phone can either be resold or will be disposed of in the correct manner in a recycling plant.

On the off chance you are curious to know how the disposal process works, well – the company generally segregates the various phone components such as batteries and other toxic material to dispose of them in an eco-friendly way. Plastic and other components are melted down so that they can be reformed into new products. Some newer model cell phones can be reused still and bought by someone who needs a cheaper phone or wishes to upgrade from an existing one.

When a mobile phone becomes outdated and cannot be resold, the worth of the mobile phone is completely lost. In these cases, while you will not receive any cash for recycling your obsolete phone, you can rest safe in the knowledge that you are helping to protect the environment.

Mobile phones are mostly designed keeping their visual appeal in mind, but this is not the case with Sonim XP5300 Force 3G, which is more function and usability oriented.

Being an owner of a phone that you can easily work with is more important than having one that just matches your t-shirt’s colour. The Sonim XP5300 is a mobile phone meant for rough and tough guys and girls as it can withstand trials like a drop from two meters height on to a concrete surface or a stay under two meters of water for up to an hour. It has Corning Gorilla glass which prevents it from damage due to shock and scratches. Furthermore, the keys on this phone are spaced out enough for use even with the gloves on. It is evident that this phone was created keeping the workers at road work and construction sites in mind.

The under water survival feature of this phone also makes it the perfect option for moms having small kids. After all, it is quite common to hear stories of young ones dropping their mothers’ phones in water. Last week I heard of a mobile phone dropped in after by a two year old, so it is not uncommon. A tough phone like Sonim XP5300 will also save you from incurring insurance and replacement expenses.

If you have a working phone and have decided to upgrade to the Sonim XP5300, do not forget to have your old mobile phone recycled. Trading it will also fetch you some handy cash that can be used towards the purchase of the new phone.

Last Thursday, Samsung introduced it’s hybrid of a mobile and a tablet PC at the IFA, held in Berlin.
The device’s size is almost half of a normal tablet PC and two times the size of a regular SmartPhone. This led to Samsung developing a brand new technology category.
DJ Lee, global head of marketing and sales and executive vice president at Samsung justified this new initiative stating that it is targeted primarily at the market segment that uses small notebooks to jot down ideas. For their use, Samsung has provided a special stowaway stylus to help them in drawing, note taking and screen capturing.
Samsung’s Galaxy Note runs Gingerbread 2.3 and is an Android device. It has a 5.3 inches 1280 x 800 Super AMOLED touch screen. Other features of the device are a removable 2500mAh battery, 1.4 GHz processor, 2MP and 8MP dual cameras, HSPA+ and LTE. Furthermore, it is light (178gms) and thin (9.65mm).
The operating system comes with TouchWiz and 7 home screens that have been designed to make the best use of the stylus (named ‘S Pen’ by the manufacturers). Programmes included in the hybrid are the S Planner, a to-do list app and a native calendar. It is quite easy to drag and drop applications without the need of opening up an entry.
Samsung is not yet certain about the first place that will receive Galaxy Note, so it will be sometime since we know about its availability in the United Kingdom.

Last Thursday IFA was held in Berlin, and the event witnessed the introduction of a tablet mobile hybrid from Samsung. The newly launched device is two times the size of a normal Smartphone and half the size of a regular tablet PC. This made Samsung develop an altogether new category of technology.

As informed by the executive VP and Global head of marketing and sales for Samsung, DJ Lee, this new device has been created to meet the specific requirements of a market segment that carries mini notebooks to make note of ideas. To this end, the hybrid device features a stowaway stylus to help users in drawing, note taking and taking screen captures.

In addition, it is an Android device running on Gingerbread 2.3. Other features include a 5.3 inches touch screen that is 1280 x 800 Super AMOLED, a removable 2500mAh battery, dual cameras at 2MP and 8MP, HSPA+ and LTE and a 1.4 GHz processor. It is quite thin at 9.65mm and light as well, weighing a mere 178gms.
The Android OS in the device has seven home screens and TouchWiz to optimise the advantages offered by the stylus device (named ‘S Pen’ by the manufacturers). A native calendar, a to-do list app and an S Planner are some of the programmes included. Furthermore, the appointments can be dragged and dropped in a hassle-free manner without the need of opening up an entry.
Samsung is still undecided about the place of introducing Galaxy Note first. Hence, it will take some time for us to know about its availability in the UK.
