Why is the price different when I click through to a recycler's website?
This is not intentional. At Mobile Phone Recycling - Cash For Mobiles.info we do everything possible to ensure that the prices we compare are 100% accurate. However, sometimes technical errors occur that are beyond our control. We rely on each recycler featured on the site to supply their pricing information to us. We download this pricing data from each recycler every hour, 24 hours a day. Very occasionally a recycler will update their prices and have a technical issue which means the pricing data they send to us is not updated straight away. This is why there can on very rare occasions be a price difference. We have automated systems to detect this and as soon as we spot a discrepancy we contact the recycler to rectify the issue. Just to make it clear, if there is price difference, the price on the recycler website is the price you will get for your phone.I sent my phone to you and I've not received my cash yet. Where is it?
Mobile phone recycling- We are a mobile phone recycling comparison site. We do not actually buy you phones so you will not have sent it to us. If you're still unsure of who you've recycled your mobile phone with I would recommend viewing your confirmation email you received after agreeing to recycle your mobile. You should see who you sent your phone to and the contact details of who you will get cash for mobile phones from.

Will my phone still be worth cash if it's broken or non-working?
Yes is the short answer! Almost all of the phone recyclers featured on this site will still pay for a broken or non-working mobile phone. Still search for your mobile phones value on our site like you normally would and once the comparison table has come up look at the column which states the price for a non-working phone.

What is a non-working or broken mobile phone?
To be classed as a working phone it should:
- Turn on and off by the power button
- Be in normal working order (general wear and tear of phones used every day use is completely ok)
- Have a fully working screen with no deep scratches or cracked which means you're unable to see what you're doing!
- It should come with its battery which is working
- Be in good working order and condition so it isn't crush, broken, pieces missing or has never been dropped in water.
Non-working phones are the following:
- The screen is broken or bleeding
- Cannot be turned on or off
- Have a non working or broken speaker and microphone
- Have a broken or non working aerial
In basic terms if you can still use it properly it's in normal working order. If it is classed as a non-working order you can get up to 90% of the value of a working version.

Can I still recycle my handset if I do not have the charger?

Do I have to pay the postage when I send my mobile phone to be recycled?
Most mobile phone recycling companies do not expect you to pay for the postage and will send you a freepost bag to send your mobile phone in. If you're still concerned I would recommend checking the comparison table with the prices for your mobile phone and check the 'Postage Bag Sent?' column to check whether they send a free post bag out.

I haven't received a postage bag, how do I get another one?
If you haven't received your free post bag we would recommend giving the company you placed the order with a ring. You will find the contact information of the mobile phone recycling site you decided to sell your phone to on your confirmation email. Unfortunately due to the fact we are a comparison site and not a recycler we are unable to deal with this problem.
